What You’ll Do
- Serve as a vital support for various aspects of the employee lifecycle such as;
- Interview scheduling and preparation
- Facilitation of all pre-employment screening tasks
- Create employee files and execute associated maintenance
- Orientation and onboarding events
- Employee appreciation events
- Assist the Managing Director of Human Resources with various projects as requested
- Serve as a reliable resource for all Atlas employees and escalate employee needs as appropriate
- Accurately complete incoming verification of employment requests
- Regularly track the completion of various processes related to annual training, performance evaluations, Letters of Agreement, etc.
- Accurately complete monthly audits related to paid time off usage, insurance carrier invoices, in-field & licensure status, etc.
- Lead by example and uphold the most current policies and procedures within employee handbook
- Foster positive and professional relationships with all employees
- Support the finance department as needed with uploading invoices, preparing checks for mailing, and converting paper files to digital records
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Compensation & Schedule
- Hourly/Non-Exempt
- $19.50 - $22.90 per hour
- Full Time; Monday – Friday, Occasional evenings as necessary

Annual Calendar and Start Date
- 223* work days per academic year
- Start Date: November 2024 or As Soon As Possible
Who You Are
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to successfully pass all required background screening pursuant to CRS § 22-30.5-110.7
- Able to consistently work an 8 hour day, in person, Monday through Friday
- At least two years of satisfactory work experience
- Proficiency within Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Demonstrate outstanding attention to detail
- Exceptional time management skills
- Exhibit professionalism at all times, with a proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Display patience, empathy, and have the ability to work with diverse populations
- Ability to follow instructions and effectively implement feedback with a strong growth mindset
Desired Qualifications:
- Bilingual; Spanish & English
- Complete familiarity and experience with all standard HR processes
- Extensive experience with an HRIS; specifically, Paycom
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence and consistently uphold high standards in your work
Essential Job Functions
- Prolonged periods of standing and sitting
- Must be able to reach, stoop, kneel, push, and pull
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the school and other facilities as needed
- Must be able to successfully abide by all policies and procedures of Atlas Preparatory School
