McNichols Building & Colorado State Capitol Building

We’re excited to invite you to the 2025 Charter School Advocacy Day on Tuesday, January 28th, from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM in downtown Denver! This special event brings together charter school students, teachers, and leaders from across Colorado for a day filled with advocacy, learning, and leadership opportunities.

Join us to gain insight into the legislative process, learn effective advocacy strategies, and better understand the current education bills that could impact charter schools. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit the Capitol and meet with elected officials to discuss the unique needs of charter schools and how they can support them through policymaking.

Middle and high school staff are encouraged to bring a group of 10 students to participate. The morning will include advocacy training and role-playing to prepare for Capitol visits, followed by lunch and the chance to engage directly with legislators and their staff.
