    What You’ll Do

    • Plan and Deliver Instruction: Teach foundational math skills for students having difficulty with foundational math through whole-class, small-group, and 1:1 support tailored to student mastery levels.
    • Curriculum Development: Create, adapt, and refine curriculum, scope and sequence, and lesson plans for grades 5–8 math interventions.
    • Collaboration: Work with Middle School leadership, Department Leads, and Special Education staff to make decisions regarding curriculum, assessments, programming, and to implement best practices, MTSS/RTI accommodations, and data-driven instruction plans.
    • Student Growth: Build systems to motivate and assess student progress through rubrics, assessments, and progress monitoring.
    • Program Support: Help develop MTSS structures, Gryphon Power Hour logistics, and related reports.
    • Family and Community Engagement: Participate in parent-teacher conferences and actively engage with families.
    • Professional Development: Participate in and contribute to various professional development opportunities 
    • Additional Support: Assist with arrival/dismissal duties, support REACH Beyond summer programming, and perform other school-related tasks as needed.

    Compensation & Schedule 

    • Salaried/Exempt
    • Annual Salary Range*: $50,500 - $63,549
    • Full Time; Monday – Friday; Occasional evenings and weekends as needed

    *Prorated if the employee's start date is after July 1st.

    Who You Are

    Required Qualifications

    • Able to meet “in-field status” for the position with one of the following:
    • Hold an active CDE License with an endorsement in Middle School Mathematics 
    • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mathematics or Middle-Level Mathematics
    • Completed 24 credit hours (with a B- or higher) aligned with CDE's Middle School Mathematics endorsement worksheet
    • Have successfully passed the PRAXIS 5164 or PRAXIS 5169 within the last 10 years
    • Must be able to pass applicable background screening pursuant to CRS § 22-30.5-110.7
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of best practices used to develop foundational mathematic supports needed for struggling learners
    • At least one year of experience with progress monitoring math tools
    • Be sincerely dedicated to educational equity and creating a rigorous, nurturing, and joyful educational experience for all students
    • Have the highest commitment to classroom instruction through collaboration, best practices, and regular assessment  
    • Possess ownership for the academic results of students
    • Ability to be a team player and communicate both professionally and effectively with a diverse group of students, parents, and colleagues  
    • Possess a genuine growth mindset and be willing to use feedback as a way to improve practice
