What You’ll Do
- Teach, support, and enhance school-wide systems and expectations at all times with all children
- Execute rigorous and standards-aligned curriculum and provide engaging, motivating, and rigorous instruction
- Create and maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the developmental level and interest of the students
- Analyze MAP data in order to achieve student projected growth targets
- Deliver daily, weekly, interim, and end-of-year assessments to consistently capture student learning
- Use detailed data analysis of student performance to inform best practices
- Collaborate with colleagues and instructional coaches with sincerity and a growth mindset
- Lead academic interventions for designated small groups via a push-in and pull-out model
- Manage a caseload of students and effectively complete all relevant district, state, and federal paperwork/accounting
- Serve as an adviser for a group of students and their families,
- Includes regular communication, problem solving, and hosting quarterly family conferences
- Communicate effectively and maintain strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Actively engage with families to understand their backgrounds and experiences to support an equitable and inclusive school environment
- Be present for all quarterly parent/teacher conferences and actively engage with families
- Document all syllabi, assignments, and other curricular materials
- Create, edit, revise, and share lesson plans for the school to retain as needed
- Support colleagues during their absences by providing classroom coverage (compensated additionally)
- Actively participate in professional development and learning opportunities as needed/required
- Support the summer REACH Beyond program
- Participate in additional activities including field trips, academic support sessions, arrival/dismissal/lunch duties, community building events, and other required programs as needed throughout the year to best serve our students and community
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Compensation & Schedule
- Salaried/Exempt
- Signing Bonus: $1,000
- Annual Salary Range*: $55,358 - $63,549
- Full Time; Monday – Friday; Occasional evenings and weekends as needed

Annual Calendar and Start Date
- 212 working days
- Please note this includes 3 days of orientation for new staff. Following years will consist of only 209 work days.
- Start Date: July 9th, 2025
*Prorated if employment begins after July 1, 2025.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to meet one of the following:
- Hold a current Colorado teaching credential with special education generalist (5-21) endorsement or
- Hold an active TEE license AND be actively working to obtain alternative special education licensure within one year of hire or
- Have a completed bachelor's degree and be willing to complete the ASPIRE program within one year of hire

- Must be able to successfully pass all required background screening pursuant to CRS § 22-30.5-110.7

Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual; Spanish & English
- Or prior experience working with bilingual students
- Prior experience within an urban classroom setting
- Ability to provide quantifiable and objective student performance data that surpass state or local averages
Essential Job Functions
- Prolonged periods of standing and sitting
- Must be able to reach, stoop, kneel, push, and pull
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the school and other facilities as needed
- Must be able to successfully abide by all policies and procedures of Atlas Preparatory School
