About the Elementary Interventionist Role: The Interventionist is the instructional leader on campus responsible for driving the academic mission of a KIPP Colorado elementary school by developing and executing programs that enable students to make 1.5-2.0 years of academic growth each academic year. The Interventionist will support the school’s Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) program for literacy/math, stay current with best practices for literacy/math instruction to educate staff, create and teach intervention groups, and support Multi Language Learners. This is a full-time position and will be coached by the MTSS lead and managed by the Principal. The Interventionist will work to implement the KIPP Colorado Instructional Vision for English Language Arts, PreK–12. The position is a 10-month academic position and is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position reports to a member of the school leadership team.
