Salary: $65,000-$75,000*
*depending upon previous relevant experience. Actual starting pay rate will be determined after a review of the work experience provided on the job application and resume.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The Director leverages national best practices alongside Colorado-specific data insights to drive continuous improvement in professional advising services. By ensuring Connections staff deliver high-quality, integrated support, the Director plays a vital role in fostering an advising environment that holistically promotes both academic success and career readiness for TCA students, empowering students to positively impact a world full of challenges.
Directs a staff that serves 9th-12th grade students and communicates pertinent information that will assist students toward graduation and in their post-secondary planning and decision-making processes. Oversees national testing, processes applications, develops curriculum, manages career and college-readiness software platform, integrates District and State mandates that pertain to college and career topics, and organizes events for students and families.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP: Reports to High School Principal
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is required
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in counseling or related field preferred
EXPERIENCE:
Three or more years of strong management experience as an admission officer/college counselor and career counselor.
Project Management and Supervisory experience preferred.
