Accountabilities and Expectations
-
Utilizing formal/informal assessment strategies for cognitive and affective evaluations.

Proficiently implementing individual and small group counseling strategies.

Incorporating inclusionary practices collaborative model.
-
Collaborating with Special Education teachers on the development of Individualized Education Plan (IEP)’s for qualifying students.
-
Conducting individual educational planning activities with a professional service orientation toward students, parents, and community constituents

Consistently implementing policies and procedures
-
Promoting a positive professional image of Montessori del Mundo
-
Developing and maintaining relationships with local community mental health providers including Children’s Hospital and Aurora Mental Health
-
Attending home visits as needed for students with significant behavioral concerns
-
Supervising and ensuring student safety
-
Submitting student progress reports, IEPs and other required paperwork on time.

Supporting operations with regularly scheduled morning, midday and/or dismissal duties
-
Investing in families by building and maintaining positive relationships with parents
Experience requirement
3-5 years
