Submit your conference slides by February 16

Step One:  Download our template slide decks to ensure that no formatting issues come up. Ensure that you open/edit them with PowerPoint. Begin your presntation on silde 6 (see Insert Presenter Slides Here). 

Step Two: Once your slides are done, download your file as a saved PowerPoint (pptx.) and rename it to match your workshop listing name (including the session number). Example: (85) Your League Membership Perks & Resources

Step Three: Double check that your file is in .pptx format and the session title is listed correctly ***

Step Four: Send us your file to by uploading it to this WeTransfer link

*** Please note that Google Slides may reformat certain effects (such as transitions) when files are downloaded as .pptx. Please double-check your file before submission.

Thank you for presenting at the Annual Conference. This page includes important information to help you prepare for your breakout session. Please review the details below in advance to ensure a smooth and successful presentation experience.

FAQ

How long are breakout sessions?

Breakout sessions are 60 minutes long, including time for Q&A. If your session is selected, your strand coordinator will contact you directly with details. You may also view the full session schedule here.


How will my presentation room be set up?

All breakout rooms will be equipped with a screen and projector. Larger rooms will also include a microphone and speakers and will be recorded. Smaller rooms may not have audio amplification.


What materials do I need to prepare for my presentation?

We will have a computer with your slide decks (Due February 16th) ready to go in your presentation room. Presenters are NOT responsible for bringing their own laptop and or any required adapters to connect to the projector. Any additional materials (handouts, activities, supplies) should be provided by the presenter.


Will my session be recorded?

Some workshop sessions held in larger breakout rooms will be recorded. By presenting, you consent to being recorded and having the recording shared with conference attendees after the event.


Will Wi-Fi be available?

Yes, Wi-Fi will be available in all session rooms; however, we recommend downloading any videos or files in advance to avoid connectivity issues.


When should I arrive to set up?

Presenters should arrive at their room at least 15 minutes before their session start time to test technology and get set up.
