This position is responsible for carrying out the scope and sequence of the elementary intervention programs, teaching small groups or working with individual students in math, literacy, and/or behavior, tracking data, attending parent meetings, and coordinating with other interventionists and special education staff members. The Elementary Interventionist also supports classroom teachers and Learning Services team members by providing research-based information about interventions for literacy.
Special Education Teacher is responsible for effectively differentiating curriculum to support the needs of staff, students, administration and parents. Committed to the process of collaboration, the Special Education Teacher will work with these groups to ensure that accommodations are appropriately implemented in classroom settings.
