The Elementary School Counselor is responsible for developing, coordinating and sustaining activities and programs related to positive school culture. This counselor position will work with the counseling department team, character development team, student support team and parent volunteers. This position will report to the Elementary School Principal.

This position is responsible for carrying out the scope and sequence of the middle school intervention programs, teaching small groups or working with individual students in math and literacy, tracking data, attending parent meetings, and coordinating with other interventionists in support of the Special Education program.
The Special Education Teacher will work with students of varying degrees of disabilities ranging from grades K through 12. Because Peak to Peak serves a K-12 population, this position will work closely with a K-12 team and will share some K-12 responsibilities.
