Stewards of Children Training
In recognition of National Child Abuse Prevention Month this April, we invite you to attend Stewards of Children, a live, virtual training on practical strategies to prevent child sexual abuse. This free, evidence-informed training is offered by Illuminate Colorado and is open to anyone interested in creating safer environments for children.
Training Options:
- Thursday, April 24 | 9:00 – 11:30 AM | Zoom | REGISTRATION
- Wednesday, April 30 | 2:30 – 4:00 PM | Zoom | REGISTRATION
- Attendees who complete the full live session will receive a training certificate.

- Practical strategies for protecting children from sexual abuse
- How to talk about prevention with children, colleagues, and community members
- Identifying situations where child sexual abuse can occur
- Recognizing the signs of abuse and how to react appropriately
- Facts about child sexual abuse in Colorado today
