Keynote Presentation by Dr. Salome Thomas-EL:
Dr. Thomas-EL's powerful address on "Choosing to Stay in Challenging Times — Cultivating Cultures of Learning, Joy and Resilience" emphasized the importance of resilient leadership and the profound impact it has on transforming school cultures. His call for every child to have someone who deeply cares for them resonated deeply with all of us.
Breakout Sessions:
Building a Winning Team hosted by Principal El & Dr. TJ Vari, emphasized the critical need to recruit and retain top talent for long-term leadership success. Future of the Colorado Workforce – A Call for Instructional Leadership led by Bill Knous & Dawna Taylor, highlighted the importance of STEM education and the pivotal role of instructional leadership in achieving strong educational outcomes. The Equalizer: Why and how educators must and can level the playing field for today's children facilitated by Lee Roland, addressed the responsibility of educators in creating an inclusive environment conducive to success.

The Power of Praise – Motivating and Inspiring Your Staff to Perform at New Levels by Principal El & Dr. TJ Vari emphasized the transformative impact of regular acknowledgment and praise for teachers. The Voyager: An Educator's Path Less Traveled by Lee Roland provided valuable strategies for bridging social and cultural divides in education.

The education policymakers panel discussion on Leadership Topics in the Next Five Years with prominent policymakers was a highlight, offering a deep dive into the present and future of education in Colorado.
