RMAE is seeking a passionate and innovative K-8 STEM Teacher to inspire and empower our students through hands-on, creative, and technology-integrated learning experiences.

• Designing and delivering engaging Makerspace projects and curriculum that integrate STEM, art, and design thinking principles.
• Foster the intellectual and social development of all K-8 students.
• Demonstrate flexibility and creativity in response to students’ needs.
• Positively impact achievement and differentiate instruction based on the needs of the students.
• Provide timely written and verbal feedback to students and families in relation to their completion of assigned tasks.
• Maintain classroom expectations and routines that promote cooperation and respect among all students.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Provide a safe and positive educational environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet students’ academic and social/emotional needs.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in science, math, engineering, or related field
• Valid CO teaching license or “Highly Qualified”
• Willingness and commitment to work with a team
• Effective communication skills
• Professional demeanor
• Experience or familiarity with charter schools is a plus
• Woodworking is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary range $54,000 to $65,000, determined by experience and qualifications
• 182 day contract
