Schedule: Part-time | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM | 180 workdays per school year

Position Summary
The Instructional Assistant supports teachers with student instruction, clerical work, and other essential classroom functions. This role is vital to maintaining a positive, efficient, and engaging learning environment. Typical Responsibilities

Assist teachers with large and small group instructional support

Supervise students during lunch, recess, carpool, and other school activities

Perform clerical duties such as document production and correspondence

Assist with grading student work

Mediate student conflicts
-
Create materials for bulletin boards and educational displays

Administer minor first aid as needed

Support scheduling and coordination of school activities

Maintain equipment in workrooms

Participate in school-related committees if applicable

Perform other duties as assigned
Skills & Requirements

Proficient in verbal and written communication in English

Ability to comprehend written, graphic, and oral instructions

Basic computer skills and familiarity with general office equipment

Knowledge of child development

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent (required)

First Aid/CPR certification (preferred)

Hourly pay starting at $18.25/hour (dependent on experience)
