We are looking for a new library software that isn’t more than we need – our existing system is going to an all online interface, with WAY more capability than we need, and will be more than double the cost. I’d like to know what other schools are using for their library book management/checkout. Is there a way to email everyone to ask for feedback on what they use?

We use Follett Destiny. It's a pretty simple program and our librarian is happy with it.

Ascent Classical Academy of Douglas County and our sister campuses have been using a program called Libib for this purpose. It is fairly basic, so we've had to be creative with how we use it, but it is so affordable that it makes more sense to continue with it than move to a more robust system.

Recommend getting the pro account.
They also have excellent customer service.
Hope this helps!
We use Destiny Follett and I really like it!
Especially since it works well with Mackin, a major company we are buy books from. Mackin provides the barcodes and spine labels for all of our books and we can upload all titles to Destiny Follett electronically through them.
We've been using Libib for several years - it works well for us. We use it as an asset management/inventory system - all of our library books, classroom library sets, student technology (chromebooks, graphing calculators) and staff technology are barcoded and organized into "collections" in Libib. Our subscription is about $75 per year, and then we have some additional spend on bar codes & bar code scanner/readers.
Hope that's helpful!
