Request for staffing levels of custodians and maintenance work staff

What are the staffing levels for custodial and maintenance work people have at their schools. I am curious how people are balancing employees vs. contractors, day vs night staffing. How many fte and role (ex. Manager, maintenance tech, custodian, etc). A helpful piece is the schools square footage for comparison.

Howdy- We don't follow a staffing level for our custodial. We have a 25,000 sq foot building with 2 Full Time custodians. They are Non-Exempt. One opens the building 6:30am and one closes the building 6:30pm. One is moving to a leadership role next year to take over various inspections and coordination with vendors which is what I am doing this year. If they are ever out sick we use Cleanpro and they are great and not too expensive! [email protected] Regarding Maintenance - if our custodian isn't able to complete the maintenance then we use external vendors. Happy to share that list! We are located in Denver.
