The deadline for the Intent to Apply and Eligibility Form for the Charter School Facility Assistance Program has been extended to Monday, March 24th.
We recently received confirmation from the Federal CSP office that charter schools adopting a new lottery policy this year—one that meets federal requirements—will remain eligible for funding, even if they previously conducted a lottery for the 2024-25 school year under a different policy.
If your school is adopting a new lottery policy to establish eligibility, please submit both your current policy and the newly adopted policy as part of your documentation. However, if your school already has a compliant policy in place and has already submitted the grant application, no further action is required.
Part II of the application (narrative, budget, and supporting documents) will open on Wednesday, March 26th, with a new submission deadline of Thursday, April 24th.
