Currently we use SDS for the financials for our schools. We use excel for the budgeting piece. We would like to see what others are using for the budgeting piece for their schools besides excel.

We are the same. We use SDS for financial reporting and excel/googledocs for our ongoing budgeting needs. Once the budget is final (July 1) or modified (Jan 30), we do put it into SDS. So far this has worked for us as the budget document is a "live" document whereas in SDS it is final, if that makes sense. Best of luck and I would love to hear what others are doing as well.
