About Salida Montessori Charter School
Salida Montessori Charter School is an authentic Montessori program in the heart of the Colorado Rockies serving public student's K-8 in our inaugural year. We also host a private Montessori program for toddlers and preschool students. Our school population is set to open with approximately 100 students and possibilities for growth will be reviewed during the term of our contract. We emphasize individual learning, curiosity, mixed age classrooms, peace education, and of course, the Montessori Method created by our founder, Maria Montessori.
