About Parker Core Knowledge Charter School
Parker Core Knowledge (PCK) is a premier P- 8 charter school in Douglas County The school has earned the esteemed John Irwin School of Excellence award every year since 2002, and was selected by the State of Colorado to be a 2016 National Blue Ribbon School. Featuring the acclaimed Core Knowledge curriculum, along with a robust offering of Specials that include Spanish, art, music, technology, and physical education, PCK offers a well-rounded academic program to all of its 702 students. Class size in K- 1 is 20 students per class, increasing to 26 per class in grades 2-8. In addition to its rigorous curriculum, PCK also makes character education a top priority for all students. As a result of this focus, PCK was recognized in 2017 as a National School of Character. A plethora of after school sports and enrichment activities, including music theatre, band, various clubs and community service opportunities, round out PCK’s program offerings.
