About Colorado Military Academy
First military academy in Colorado K - 8 tuition-free charter school located next to Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs. Growing to K - 12 by adding high school grades one grade at a time starting the 2018-19 academic year. Rigorous, hands-on curriculum in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). More than 90% of the teaching faculty are retired military veterans or have an affiliation with the military. All teachers hold a degree, roughly 50% hold a Master's degree and one member of staff holds a PhD! All teachers are fully licensed, and are experts in STEM fields. The Civil Air Patrol cadet program will serve as a model for the military training format.
