This nine-hour training is ideal for school leaders and educators tasked with receiving and responding to Title IX complaints as well as developing interim measures. Highlighting the unique Title IX issues that confront K-12 educational organizations, participants will acquire the skills and knowledge to build an effective Title IX compliance program based on the new Title IX regulations that go into effect August 1, 2024, while developing Title IX policies and procedures for their school. Best practices for investigations and recordkeeping will also be explored.

  • Session Two: Receiving and Responding to Complaints; Interim Measures; and Strategies for Managing Complaints with Care and Sensitivity
  • Session Three: Considerations for Specific Student Populations; andTrauma-Informed Approaches
  • Session Four: Managing Informal Resolutions
  • Session Five: Managing Formal Resolutions, including Best Practices for Investigations
  • Session Six: Record Keeping; External Complaints to the Department of Education; and How to Prepare for New Proposed Title IX Regulations

Attendees will receive a certificate for nine hours of Professional Development (PD).
