As the federal court judge struck down the 2024 Title IX regulations in their entirety, this means we will revert back to 2020 Title IX regulations, but any procedural aspects of the 2024 regulations may be implemented for better practice and mitigation. However, the definitions and substantive changes noted in 2024 no longer apply. In the meantime, the most significant 2024 changes that no longer apply are the definitions of what constitutes “sex”. These will no longer apply as a result of January's 2025 decision.

Using the 2020 Regulations (the 2024 Final Rule having been repealed), this session equips decision-makers with the legal standards, considerations for diverse student populations, and best practices for decision-making and documentation, to effectively address Title IX matters, mitigate risk, and cultivate an equitable learning environment.
