Leadership Training for Health & Well-Being
SHAPE America is providing a collaborative learning experience for superintendents, principals, assistant principals, and other school leaders who are passionate about improving the health and well-being of their community.
Leading Healthy Schools is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of Adolescent and School Health to engage school administrators in supporting and implementing evidence-based school health policies and practices.
This year-long program provides:
- PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Relevant, collaborative learning experiences designed specifically for school leaders to identify best practices for implementing school health programs and policies that work for your school and within your district’s context.
- NATIONAL NETWORKING: Opportunity to connect with administrators from all over the country in various settings including small group interest-based sessions, an online discussion and resource-sharing platform, and in-person at the 2026 SHAPE America National Convention & Expo in Kansas City, Missouri..
- INDIVIDUALIZED COACHING AND SUPPORT: Flexibly scheduled meetings to support administrators in bringing their learning experiences back to their schools.
- INCENTIVES FOR TEACHERS AND SCHOOLS: Including a complimentary SHAPE America membership for a teacher and opportunities to win fitness equipment!
