Developing High-Quality Programs

Increasing student achievement is a primary objective for charter schools, and achieving that goal requires reviewing and addressing accountability, teacher effectiveness, school culture and leadership best practices. Utilizing a positive and inclusive culture, data-driven assessments and personalized learning approaches, charter schools can address students' unique strengths and areas for growth, maximizing their academic potential.

Our Academic Services program focuses on supporting member schools as they create high-quality, innovative programs that engage students. Based on proven practice, our consulting, coaching, planning and review opportunities are universally applicable to all leaders, teachers and schools, regardless of school model or instructional focus. Engage with a League consultant today to support your school’s achievement goals.

Customized Consulting Packages

Cost: $175-$250 per hour

  • Leadership Coaching: Our experienced leadership coaches work side-by-side with school leaders and their teams to improve culture, organize systems and structures, support change initiatives and more.
  • Project Planning and Implementation Coaching: Are you embarking on a change initiative and need support to ensure success? A planning and implementation coach can work with your school to design a project plan that includes major improvement strategies, 60-day milestones, action steps and success criteria. After a strong plan is created, your coach will work with you towards successful implementation.
  • Teacher Coaching: If your teachers could benefit from an instructional coach but you don’t have the budget to hire your own, consider contracting with a League consultant. Our coaches provide individual instructional coaching, professional development, planning support and more.

School Quality Reviews

Cost: Starting at $6,000

The purpose of a School Quality Review is to provide school leadership and governing boards with an evidence-based, objective, and triangulated body of evidence to drive systemic continuous improvement within the school’s unique model and mission. Coming in with a critical eye, our experts are Colorado-based, experienced charter school leaders who will strive for the best possible outcome for your unique school and student body. Learn more.

Focused Workshops

Each year, the League selects two key topics around which it creates intensive, hands-on workshop series that drive improvement. These workshops are conducted as a series of five-to-six meetings encompassing both in-person and virtual environments. Attendees will first explore each component before creating the draft product for their school. Free to League members; prices vary for non-members. Learn more.

We’re Here to Help

In addition to academic services, the League also offers assistance in the areas of board and governance services, facilities and finance, enrollment and communications, exceptional education, health and wellness, HR and talent and new school development.
