Operations and Finance Cohort

Thank you to everyone who joined our first Ops + Finance Cohort meeting this week. It was a strong kickoff to the year, and I appreciate the input and discussion that helped set the stage for our work together.

In our session, I introduced myself as the new Director of Business Services and walked through the new meeting template and proposed topics for the year. Participants provided feedback on the draft schedule and priorities. The group also shared valuable insights on operational issues including teacher recruitment strategies, board training modules, and financial practices. We wrapped up with announcements about upcoming events and a preview of the new board training modules, which will launch in October.

Action Item:
As a follow-up to our discussion, please review the Meeting Topics doc we looked at together during the meeting and add any additional comments. The document will remain open for feedback through Friday, September 26.
