Boost student success by teaming with families and your community! Join us for a conversation with Dr. Jes Stroope, District and Community Supports Manager at CDE,
as we talk about establishing a proven, research-based structure at your school called Family-School-Community Partnering (FSCP). She'll share high-impact strategies in the context of overlapping spheres of influence – because we know student success is a true team effort.

Learn how to create a welcoming vibe, spark productive two-way communication, and genuinely involve families in their child's learning journey. This isn't about adding more to your plate, but about smart collaboration! You'll grab actionable strategies for making all families feel welcome, communicating clearly, advocating for every child, sharing decision-making power, and connecting with community resources. Join us to pinpoint what your school's already doing well and craft an action plan for continuous improvement.

About the Speaker:
Jes Stroope, Ph.D. is the District and Community Supports Manager in the Colorado Department of Education’s Office of Family, School, and Community Partnerships. She provides training and technical assistance to schools, districts, and community partners statewide on building systemic FSCP programs that support student success. Her work includes facilitating regional collaboratives, coaching districts on Colorado’s P-12 FSCP Framework, and developing tools to strengthen educator preparation for family engagement. With a background as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Dr. Stroope has co-authored articles and book chapters on family-school collaboration. Outside of work, she enjoys time with family, fantasy novels, and ambitious house projects.
