About Frontier Academy Elementary Campus
Frontier Academy is a Core Knowledge program, a nationally recognized curriculum, traditional in nature, that instills a broad, solid foundation of knowledge and cultural literacy in all students. Students are taught in specific sequences starting in Kindergarten; each unit in each subject builds on previously learned information. Detailed information about Core Knowledge can be found at www.coreknowledge.com or in the series of books written by E. D. Hirsch, Jr.; the elementary library has this series available to parents to check out. Our high school program builds on a strong foundation of the K-8 Core Knowledge Curriculum. We have designed a challenging program that will prepare students for acceptance and achievement in colleges, universities, or other post-secondary programs. Frontier Academy's graduation requirements exceed the state requirements and surpass the expectations of most other high schools, especially in core areas such as English, Mathematics, and Science. Our curriculum exceeds the 2010 Colorado Commission of Higher Education admission requirements. Frontier Academy High school (9 -12th grade) offers Honors course opportunities, as well as, AP courses. FA's middle and high school offers a variety of extra-curricular activities such as sports, drama, and music. Frontier Academy secondary is in session Monday ? Thursday.
