Reminder: Nov Cohort Meeting Date Change - Now Combined with BON on Nov 20
Quick reminder about a schedule change for this month’s cohort meeting -
We are canceling the Nov 18th monthly Operations + Finance cohort meeting and instead keeping the Business Operations Networking (BON) virtual meetup scheduled for Thurs Nov 20 from 10:30–12:00pm MT.
It felt like a lot to ask of our school leaders and business managers to attend two meetings in the same week - and I hadn’t realized the overlap when planning!

We’ll have two great speakers joining us from CDE:
1/ Paola Paga, Director of Charter Schools
She’ll share an overview of the State Charter School Facilities Incentive Grants (SFIG) Program, which provides federal funds to help states improve charter school facilities programs.
2/ Brandon LaChance, Regional Program Manager
He’ll give an update on the Building Excellent Schools Today (BEST) Program, which offers competitive grants for new construction and facility improvements.
Looking forward to diving into these two key facility funding opportunities together!
