School Lunch Hero Day is Friday, May 1, and School Nutrition wants to showcase our Colorado Heroes! Submit yourself or your colleagues by Friday, April 24, to be highlighted in the April 30 edition of the Dish. School Lunch Hero Day is an opportunity to raise awareness and applaud the many child nutrition professionals who have such a positive impact on the lives of students. Our school lunch heroes prepare and serve more than 435,000 lunches and 184,000 breakfasts every day! These healthy, nutritious meals fuel students throughout the day and help them be focused and ready to learn.
