Dec. 11 Lunch + Learn Recap + Resources

Thanks so much to everyone who joined us today for an inspiring session with Libby Cowles, Interim Director of Enrollment and Community Outreach at Animas High School, Greg Phillips, AHS Board of Directors and Drew Semel, AHS Digital Arts Teacher.

Libby, Greg and Drew shared the story behind Beyond the Bell, a seven-episode podcast produced in just six weeks that elevates student voice and explores what meaningful, purpose-driven education can look like. They walked us through why podcasting was the right medium, how the team managed rapid production, and what they learned about storytelling, community engagement, and capturing authentic student perspectives.

For those who missed the session, you can view the recording here:

Slides are posted under the Documents section.

We hope you’ll join us next month for more learning and connection through CONNECT!

Regards,
Kim, Melia + the entire League staff
