School Health Champions Opportunity
Strong health and wellness teams turn Local Wellness Policy into real, coordinated actions that improve student and staff well-being. The Colorado Department of Education, in collaboration with Action for Healthy Kids, is excited to host a four-session, virtual Community of Practice (COP) to help district and school teams build and strengthen health and wellness initiatives aligned with policy and best practices.
This series will help teams:

Strengthen and sustain health and wellness initiatives

Coordinate efforts to support district goals and school needs
-
Engage students, families, and community partners
-
Learn from peers and access practical tools and guidance
Who should attend: District wellness coordinators, school health and wellness teams, administrators, counselors, nurses, and staff supporting whole child initiatives. Schools and districts are encouraged to send at least two representatives per team.
