CDPHE Provides School Hazardous Chemical Waste Removal Funding
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is providing financial assistance to schools for the removal of hazardous chemical wastes. Priority is given to schools committed to green chemistry, effective procurement systems to prevent future accumulation, and regulatory compliance. Applicants must submit a chemical inventory, a hygiene plan, and procurement procedures to their Local Public Health Agency (LPHA) for initial review.
