Key Responsibilities
- Teach middle school math courses (6th–8th grade)
- Design and deliver instruction that emphasizes conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and real-world application.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies—collaborative learning, inquiry-based tasks, small-group instruction—to meet diverse learner needs.
- Develop and implement assessments that inform instruction and support student growth.
- Maintain a classroom environment that is safe, inclusive, and grounded in positive relationships.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum, support interdisciplinary projects, and strengthen the middle school experience.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with students, families, and staff.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives, professional learning, and community events.
- Uphold The Juniper School’s mission, values, and commitment to whole-child education.
Education and Licensure
- Bachelor’s degree and/or teaching license in education or related field
