K-8 Math Content Specialist

The K–8 Math Content Specialist provides leadership and support to develop and sustain a coherent, professional, and equitable mathematics program across grades K–8. This role partners with students, families, and school staff to improve math achievement using targeted instructional strategies, data-informed decision-making, and evidence-based practices. The specialist coaches teachers, supports curriculum and intervention design, monitors student progress, and leads continuous improvement efforts to ensure high-quality math outcomes for all students.
The K-8 Math Content Specialist will instruct students who demonstrate advanced mathematical thinking beyond the pace of PRA’s Challenge Math classes. This role calls for an engaging educator with deep content knowledge in grades kindergarten through 8th grade and the ability to differentiate instruction for all types of learners. The specialist will build a positive culture that promotes intellectual curiosity, independent learning, and strong critical-thinking skills.
