The Classroom Teacher is responsible for the education of elementary students in a setting and creating an environment with high standards in learning, creativity, and personal growth in accordance with each student's abilities, while carrying out the mission and vision of the school.
Our enrichment model, including field studies and weekly Explorations, cultivates curiosity, confidence and leadership beginning in kindergarten.
We have a rare opportunity for an intermediate-level teacher to join our vibrant team. The Elementary Teacher is responsible for the delivery of specified course content and creating an environment with high standards in learning, creativity, and personal growth in accordance with each student's abilities so that they can fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, and social-emotional growth. This person is responsible for organizing and implementing an instructional program that results in students achieving academic success in the context of the school's mission, vision, and values. We have two 5th grade classrooms, and this position will be responsible for teaching ELA and Social Studies to both homerooms while our returning 5th grade teacher is responsible for teaching Math and Science to both homerooms.
Starting Salary: $50,520 - $78,573
