Knowledge Quest Academy (KQA) is seeking a dedicated and student-centered 5th Grade Teacher to join our K–8 team. This is a full-time position for the 2026–27 school year. The ideal candidate is committed to strong instructional practices, positive relationships with students and families, and contributing to a collaborative school culture grounded in character and academic excellence.
At KQA, 5th grade teachers work closely with a grade-level teammate to plan instruction, analyze student data, and support all learners. We value a team-oriented approach and a willingness to continuously grow as an educator.
- Plan and deliver high-quality instruction aligned to Colorado Academic Standards
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Use student data to inform instruction and support academic growth
- Foster a positive, structured classroom environment that supports student engagement and behavior
- Collaborate with grade-level teammates, interventionists, and support staff
- Communicate effectively and consistently with students, families, and colleagues
- Participate in school-wide initiatives, professional development, and team meetings
- Support school culture through modeling and reinforcing KQA’s character pillars
