Introducing Our Refreshed Brand – Built to Represent You
A Bold New Look Rooted in Colorado
When the Colorado League of Charter Schools was founded in 1994, our state’s charter school community looked very different than it does today. We've grown from a handful of pioneering schools to a diverse network of 262 schools serving more than 136,000 students across Colorado.
Today, we’re excited to unveil a refreshed brand identity that reflects both our Colorado roots and our vision for every student in our state.
What's Changing – And What Isn't
Our logo and visual identity are getting a modern update, but let us be clear: our mission, our priorities and your member benefits remain exactly the same. We're still here to support your schools, advocate for your students and ensure every charter school in Colorado has the resources and representation you deserve.
The Meaning Behind the Mark
Our new logo draws inspiration from Colorado's iconic state flag – a symbol that unites all Coloradans, regardless of geography or politics.
The yellow circle at the heart of our mark represents every student under the Colorado sun. Just as the sun shines on every corner of our state, our vision is that all Colorado students – from the Western Slope to the Eastern Plains, from the Front Range to the San Luis Valley – have access to high-quality, public school options.
The violet “C” wraps protectively around that circle and extends into an open “L,” representing the League's outstretched arm. This symbolizes our commitment to reaching every student and our advocacy that transcends bipartisan politics. Our belief that every family deserves excellent educational choices moves us to extend our arms and advocate for every student.
Why This Matters
As Colorado’s charter school community has evolved and matured, we needed a visual identity that connects us to our state's identity while reflecting the sophistication and impact of your work. This rebrand positions us to better tell your stories, amplify your successes and advocate for the policies that support your students.
This investment in our brand is an investment in you. When we show up in the public square, at the State Capitol and in communities across Colorado, we're representing your schools and your students. We want that representation to honor both our Colorado heritage and the excellence happening in your classrooms every day.
Looking Ahead
Over the coming weeks, you'll see our new brand roll out across our website, social media channels and communications. Like the Colorado flag that inspired it, our new identity is designed to unite, inspire and endure.
Thank you for the privilege of representing Colorado's charter school community. Here’s to the next chapter of our work together!
