The Managing Director of Exceptional Student Services (MDESS) leads special education, CLDE, gifted and talented, and MTSS programs organization-wide. The MDESS oversees compliance, develops specialized service providers, strengthens instruction, and uses data to drive improvement. As a Central Leadership Team member and primary District 2 liaison for special education and CLDE, the MDESS partners with campus leaders to improve student outcomes.
The Dean of Inclusion serves as a facilitator, working and communicating on an ongoing basis with the HOS and faculty about meeting the needs of students with disabilities in and out of the classroom while managing our SPED department and staff.
The Dean of Students' primary role is implementing non-academic student support systems at Twin Peaks Classical Academy. This position exists for the primary purpose of meeting student needs in order to promote academic achievement and a healthy school environment and culture.
