School Wellness Leadership Collective
SHAPE America’s new School Wellness Leadership Collective is a free professional community for school, district, and state leaders who guide school wellness committees, policies, and programs. Through monthly one-hour virtual meetings and discussion forums, participants will build relationships, share resources, strengthen their skills, and work through common challenges.
Enrollment is due Friday, October 9. The virtual kickoff and goal-setting meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 28, from 1–2 p.m. MT.
Possible focus areas include wellness committee basics, engaging partners in wellness efforts, supporting classroom practice, and writing and implementing local wellness policies. Questions may be directed to Kaitlyn Gaddis Thompson at kgaddisthompson@
