​​​​​​​Colorado League of Charter Schools 2026 Hall of Fame Honorees

DENVER—Feb. 26—The Colorado League of Charter Schools is pleased to announce the winners of its 2026 Hall of Fame awards that recognize the state’s most dedicated and successful educators, advocates and contributors to charter education.

Nominated by their peers and selected by a panel of expert League staff, the honorees represent the dedication, innovation and unwavering commitment that continue to make charter schools a cornerstone of educational opportunities in Colorado.

The 2026 Colorado Charter Schools Hall of Fame winners are:

Advocate of the Year:

  • Pat Donovan, RootED, Denver Families for Public Schools, Denver
  • Victoria Scott Haynes, Denver Families for Public Schools, Denver

Charter School Leader of the Year:

  • Kevyn Stokes, Atlas Schools, Colorado Springs

Educator of the Year:

  • Justice Martinez, DSST: Green Valley Ranch Middle School, Denver
  • Kris Hamilton, Westgate Community School, Thornton

Lifetime Achievement:

  • Tim Matlick, Jefferson Academy Charter Schools, Broomfield
  • Zach McComsey, Legacy Institute, Colorado Springs

Most Valuable Charter School Contributor:

  • Lisa Rupple, Cardinal Community Academy, Keenesburg
