Back to School: Colorado's Charter School Performance 2022
The Keystone Policy Center examined the data and analyzed how students in charter schools performed compared to students in district-managed schools across Colorado as the state emerged from pandemic shutdowns and interruptions to in-person learning.
Between 2015 and 2024, Colorado public schools—both district-run and charter—benefitted from a total of $17.2 billion in public funding dedicated to facilities costs.
