In this session, special education leaders will explore why strong SPED leadership matters more than ever in today's charter landscape, examining the legal and political pressures (OCR complaints, CLE reports, charter opposition) shaping the field. Leaders will leave with a special education vision statement aligned to their school's mission and model, clarity on where that model needs to flex, and a sharper understanding of their own role in defining and prioritizing SPED programming.
