Last Call for Hall of Fame Nominations: Submit by this Fri., Jan. 9
Hello CONNECT members and welcome back! Just a heads up that your final chance to nominate an individual for the 2026 Colorado Charter Schools Hall of Fame is this Friday, January 9, 2026. This is your opportunity to recognize a colleague or community member whose work has shaped the charter landscape and expanded opportunities for students across our state. We are particularly looking for nominees in the Advocate of the Year category (see additional details below).
👉 If you have started a Hall of Fame nomination but have not yet submitted it, please be sure to complete and submit your nomination by this Friday. To access a draft, log in, go to My Account, and select My Award Nominations.
2026 HALL OF FAME AWARD CATEGORIES
🏆 Lifetime Achievement Award
Honors an individual whose long-term dedication and leadership have made a lasting and meaningful impact on the charter school movement in Colorado.
⭐ Most Valuable Charter Contributor Award
Recognizes an individual who consistently goes above and beyond to support their school or the broader charter community through service, collaboration, and commitment.
🍎 Charter School Educator of the Year Award
Celebrates an outstanding educator whose passion, innovation, and leadership are transforming student learning and success.
🎓 Charter School Leader of the Year Award
Honors a school leader who drives excellence, builds strong teams, and creates meaningful impact for students, staff, and families.
📣 Advocate of the Year Award
Recognizes an individual who champions charter schools through public policy, advocacy, and community engagement to strengthen public education.
Finalists will be announced later in January. All honorees will be celebrated at a special Hall of Fame ceremony during the 2026 Annual Charter Schools Conference on February 25, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. at the Denver Marriott Tech Center.
Award recipients will be notified privately in early February, allowing them to invite family, colleagues, and guests to join in the celebration.
