PR opp: Start Jan. off right & spotlight your board

Hello MarComm friends! I've got another PR opportunity for anyone who is interested! Colorado Association of School Boards (CASB) has designated January as School Board Recognition month. These are extraordinary people who voluntarily tackle the enormous job of governing schools and do so in a manner that illustrates what it means to be an advocate for high-quality charter schools.
We want to tell their stories. I am seeking examples and stories pertaining to:

    - A single board member who stands out
    - An entire board who has successfully tackled a difficult topic, training or facility challenge.
    - The work a board is doing to get a school off the ground

With each idea, I'll likely ask for a quote from an individual involved as well. Please submit your ideas to: [email protected] by next Friday, Jan. 20.

I look forward to hearing how your board is making a difference and working together to shine a spotlight on their work.
