Governor Signs SB26-145 Into Law
Governor Polis signed Senate Bill 145 into law this morning, marking an important win for Colorado charter schools.
Thanks to this new law, when school districts go to voters for bond funding, they will now be required to meaningfully include charter schools in that process, explain in writing if a charter school’s needs are left out, and give voters clear, transparent information about how those decisions were made.
