October is Farm to School Month - a time to eat, learn and celebrate local agriculture throughout Colorado. With the recent expansion of the Local Food Program, there has never been a better time to showcase fresh, Colorado-grown products in your cafeterias.

Ambassadors will serve as positive role models for their peers, raise awareness of Safe2Tell in their schools and communities, and promote Safe2Tell through a variety of relatable, creative, and thoughtful projects.

The Colorado Project AWARE Resource Collection brings together resources created through the Colorado Department of Education’s Project AWARE 2020 and 2022 grants.

Sponsors may apply to operate the Afterschool Snack Program at any time during the school year. Participating sites can serve nutritious snacks during afterschool programs, including educational and enrichment activities.
