Community Comes Together for Beam Signing at Future Home of John Adams Academy – Douglas County
DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. — John Adams Academy – Douglas County recently celebrated an important construction milestone with a beam signing ceremony held March 14, bringing together families, future students, school leaders, and community supporters.
During the event, attendees were invited to sign a structural beam that will become a permanent part of the school building—leaving messages of hope, encouragement, and
excitement for the students who will learn there for generations to come.
The beam signing marked an exciting step forward for the future campus and reflected the strong community support behind bringing a new tuition-free public charter school
option to local families.
“This was a meaningful and inspiring moment for everyone who believes in the vision of John Adams Academy – Douglas County,” said Sarah Kiesewetter, Founding Headmaster. “Seeing families, children, and supporters sign a beam that will become part of our campus was a powerful reminder that this school is being built with the community and for the community.”
