In this session, special education leaders will confront the beliefs and language — like "not a good fit" — that quietly narrow who their school believes it can serve, and build the skills to shift both mindset and practice. Leaders will also learn to diagnose the health of their Tier 1 supports, identify the warning signs of a broken Tier 1, and understand why strong universal instruction is the true starting point for access.
