In this session, special education leaders will learn where IDEA allows room for creativity and where it doesn't, and how to leverage parent relationships to unlock more flexible, innovative programming. Leaders will walk away with strategies for maximizing staff and resources, building a fuller continuum of services through smart scheduling and staffing, and defining what "quality" programming looks like — including what it takes to serve students with moderate to severe needs well.
