About Community Leadership Academy
Opened in August, 2005, Commerce City, serving grades K-8. CLA's vision is to help expand the educational choices for students and their families in the Adams 14 School District, by creating a school that has a school culture that stresses the pursuit of excellence, uses proven teaching methods, invites parental involvement and emphasizes community involvement. To this end, CLA is a Core Knowledge school that provides a rigorous and creative educational atmosphere and promotes a life-long love of learning, academic excellence, character development, civic leadership and community service.
